As a Members owned golf club we aim to provide affordable golf at a high quality golf course for the people of Kington and the surrounding areas.

We regularly feature in golf industry course rankings and have just been ranked the best value golf club in England by National Club Golfer and are currently ranked 2nd in Golf World/Today's Golfer for all courses in Great Britain and Ireland under £65 to play.

We are investing significantly to continually enhance the course and we strive to offer a variety of Membership opportunities, providing for golfers of all ages and abilities.

Our membership year runs from 1st April 2024 - 31st March 2025, but we offer new joiner reductions for those who wish to join part way through the year. Please see the latest rates below. We also offer reduced fee membership for all young players under the age of 39, and discounts for MOD and for those who travel more than 20 miles to play at Kington.

Our popular winter only membership exists for those who are happily members elsewhere but enjoy the chance of winter golf at Kington. Normal benefits of bar discount, and entry to members competitions and Opens at members rates apply. Lower rates apply for age group categories.

Do you want to try golf before committing to join? Beginners can join our regular free group lessons with our Golf Professional. A great way to learn golf and meet new friends. Ladies only and open to all sessions run from Spring to Autumn. If you decide to join we have a range of different membership categories which might best suit your circumstances.

We also offer two months Trial Membership at any time of year to sample the course and clubhouse before committing to join.

Alongside our Full Membership categories offering unlimited access to the course and competitions, we also offer various packages to golfers who require more flexibility and who do not want to make a full commitment. We have no extra joining fees, our rates include golf union fees, and members benefit from a 12% reduction on drinks in the clubhouse.

All new Full Members are provided with a free introductory lesson by our resident PGA Professional.

CURRENT MEMBERSHIP OFFERS.

Distance Membership - Those living over 20 miles from Kington GC can receive a reduction of 15% against the applicable playing membership fee. Not available to Flex, Flex Plus or Associate members.

Country Membership - Those living over 40 miles from Kington GC can receive a reduction of 25% against the applicable playing membership fee. Not available to Flex, Flex Plus or Associate members.

Winter Membership from 1st November 2024 - 31st March 2025 for £245.

Flex Members - remember unused points can be carried forward to the following membership year provided you rejoin with annual Flex Membership £260 or Flex Plus £470.
