Open Competition Results

Congratulations to Kevin Buck, Nathan Buck, Mark McAlpine and Phillip Evans from Wernddu Golf Club who scored an outstanding 95 points to win the Festival of Golf Team of 4 event.

Well done to all of the 140 players who competed in the annual Festival of Golf Texas Scramble on Friday 7th July. There were some outstanding scores.

Congratulations to the winning team of Zac Stannard, Jack Curtis, Matt Price and Curtis Baugh on an amazing 49. 

Kington players Ryan Hotchkiss, Ross Moore, Allan Williams and Matt Weaver shot an amazing 19 under par gross.

It was also great to see so many visitors finishing well up in the prizes, we hope you all enjoyed your day.

The Spring Open was held on Sunday 5th March 2023. Congratulations to the winners Nigel Scott, Richard Scott, Brian Morgan, and Sid Price who posted an amazing 100 points with just the best 2 stableford scores counting on each hole. 

It was good to see a number of teams with a mixture of Kington members and visitors. Well played to the team of Nigel Chancellor, Colin Parker, Daniel Johnson and Peter Bowen from Hagley Golf Club who won the prize for the best team of visitors.

The final Winter Series event was held on 19th February. Congratulations to Brian Morgan and Les Baker for winning with a fine 48 points. 

Thanks also to the volunteers who have run the events this season. 

We look forward to welcoming everyone for next years Winter Series starting in November.

A large field of players braved freezing conditions to play the first Winter Series event. Congratulations to Kelvin and Ruth Alexander who won with an excellent 46 points. The next event in the series is on Sunday 19th February.
