On Monday 15th June, our PGA Pro, Keith Preece, returns to Kington following his period of furlough during the coronavirus lock-down.
With last week's relaxation of the guidelines and the extension of play to allow four-balls, golf is now in full swing (!) on Bradnor Hill.
Keith's input will once again provide a valued support to Members and our Visiting golfers.
Hereford County Hospital has opened its new helipad thanks to the work of the HELP Appeal, the subject of last year's Captains' Charity.
Robert Bertram, Chief Executive of the HELP Appeal said "I’d like to thank our donors, who helped to build this and other helipads across the country, including Kington Golf Club in Herefordshire whose members have been so supportive of the HELP Appeal’s lifesaving work.”
Chairman, Phil Jones, talks on BBC HW regarding the re-opening of the Club after the Coronavirus shut-down.
