I am very happy to report that we had a fantastic evening at the club last night when Peter Reavill came to talk to us about Finds from the Field.

An audience of over 70 enjoyed hearing about the fascinating articles that have been found in our local area and heard first hand about the stolen Anglo Saxon Coins and Jewellery found in Herefordshire estimated to be between £3 million & £12 million pounds. Will we ever know the true value?

The evening was enjoyed by mainly Non-Members but the atmosphere in the clubhouse was wonderful and I feel we showed Kington Golf Club off at its best. 

The food we enjoyed, courtesy of LIz & her team, was some of the best we have ever had and was very much appreciated by our audience. Many thanks to Alun Crichton for securing Peter to come and talk to us.
