CLUBHOUSE RE-OPENING

Following recent Government advice, Kington Golf Club is pleased to announce the Clubhouse will re-open on Saturday July 4th 2020.

In view of the on-going situation regarding the COVID-19 virus, the following arrangements have been put in place in order to protect members, visitors and staff. We would respectfully remind all persons entering the Clubhouse that for everyone’s safety they have a personal responsibility to follow these guidelines.

Please remember,

- Wash and/or sanitise hands frequently
- Maintain safe social-distancing at all times
- Do not attend the club premises if you feel at all unwell.

More specifically,

On entering the Clubhouse, you will find that a one way system is in operation. Please follow the arrows and social-distancing markers.

You will find new table arrangements in the Clubhouse bar and dining-room. Please do not move the tables or chairs as they have been carefully positioned to meet safe social-distancing requirements.

Ladies’ and Gentlemen’s toilet facilities remain as existing with a “One In/One Out” policy for usage.

We would ask members and visitors to take extra care to maintain safe social-distancing as the Clubhouse becomes busier.

Food orders will be taken at the Spikes Bar counter, where a menu will be displayed. Food will be served in the Clubhouse and on the decking, by table service as usual.

If you only intend to have a drink and there are no available tables, please take your drink outside to the grassy area at the back of the putting green, following the One Way signs down the steps from the decking. Please take care when descending the stairs. A notice will be displayed reminding customers to exercise caution.

• Because of the limited seating available, please book a table in advance if you want to eat. Without a booking, tables cannot be guaranteed. For reservations tel: 01544 230 340 or Mail [email protected]
• Contactless card payments only
• Please note, coffee-machine prices are now £1.50

In order to facilitate compliance with the Government’s Track and Trace policy, all golfers must book tee times via the BRS system. Non-golfing visitors to the club will be asked to provide their contact details in the Visitors’ book.

Amendments to this policy may be necessary in due course, but we sincerely hope that these revised arrangements make a visit to the Clubhouse both safe and enjoyable for all.

On behalf of Agi Rozinka, Steward KGC.
