Just in case it happens to you!  Hole in One insurance!!!!!

The Club insurance covers the cost incurred by members who achieve a Hole in One in offering drinks on the day to fellow competitors in competitions organised by Kington Golf Club.  This covers Medals, Stablefords, Texas Scrambles, Exchange Visits, Knock-outs, Opens, Invitations etc organised by the Men’s, Ladies' or Seniors' Committee.

We do not wish to dictate how drinks are offered but it is expected that no more than £100 is spent on any single occurrence, unless the number of fellow competitors is extremely high.  The cost of drinks consumed will be recorded at the bar and subsequently reclaimed from our insurer.  A copy of the scorecard signed by the player and marker is required as proof and should eventually be passed to the  Treasurer.

It does not cover friendly Club matches, Competitions organised by SHUGC  (Hargrove, Handicap League, Ken Smith Trophy, Cognac Trophy), Daily Mail or similar National /Regional competitions.

Seniors charm the Ladies!

The Seniors and the Ladies teamed up to play a friendly match on 11th September, followed by one of Agi's special meals.  The Ladies all agreed that the Seniors were not only true genltemen but also a delight to play with!  They eagerly await the next match!  It is perhaps worth noting that none of the ladies were teamed with their husbands!

The results were

1st Audrey Philpott, Norma Smith,, David Mains and Joe James – 76 points.

2nd  Sue Davis, Mary Hill, Mike Harley and Dave Haley – 75 points.

And finally :- My son said, "I just don't understand girls." I told him, "Don't worry, that'll change." ----- "Will it?"---- "Yes, when you get older, you won't understand women either"

and  there’s more :- I said to my wife "Lisa from down the street just showed me a picture of her new baby on her phone."
"That's great" she beamed, "So what did she have?"--- "An iPhone 4S I think."
