37 ladies played for the Lady Veterans' Trophy in generally mild and sunny conditions, interspersed with heavy hail showers during which the temperature dropped markedly.

Winner  Barbara Radbourne with 38 points

2nd Anne Hitchcox with 37 points

3rd Lorraine Bourne with 36 points

Despite inclement weather conditions, 77 ladies played in a 9 hole Stableford Competition in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care -  the chosen Charity of our Lady Captain.

Everyone was given coffee and biscuits before they went out to play, ably served by our Lady Captain with help from Betty Ashworth and
Barbara Passey.  A selection of stalls selling greetings cards, jewellery and scarves, golfing clothing and of course our famous Priday cake stall, gave the ladies a chance for some retail therapy after their round of golf!   We also held a raffle and a guess the number of tees competition which raised £119.00 to boost the Charity Fund.

The whole day was a tremendous effort and we managed to raise a fantastic total of £986.00 . Many thanks to all those who helped in anyway to ensure the success of the day.

Ladies, please note that the closing date for entry to the Bradnor Bowl, the Bradnor Cup and the Summer League is March 20th - this is much earlier than usual. 

The Ladies’ Committee has decided that it is time to  have a new colour for the club shirts this year.  The new pink shirts can be seen on a model in the Pro Shop priced at £22.50 and if you want one please add your name to the list on the Captain's Board, indicating the size wanted.  Dan has a selection of sizes for you to try on.  The Lady Captain would prefer anyone playing in matches this coming season to wear the new pink shirt but white will be an acceptable alternative, particularly when worn with the pink sweater. 

As you are aware we are having a Charity Bridge Drive on Thursday, 9 February - 1.30 pm - 2 pm.  This is in aid of McMillan Charity Support.
